We also collect billing details when you subscribe to a paid plan, which are processed securely by Dodopayments. We do not store full card numbers. Additionally, we may collect support and feedback content, such as emails, chat messages, or attachments that you send us.
When you use the Website or Services, certain information is collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, and time zone. We may also collect usage data such as the pages you visit, referring and exit pages, timestamps, and how you interact with various features. Cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies may be used for these purposes as explained in Section 8.
If you connect your social media accounts such as X/Twitter, Reddit, or LinkedIn to TrendFynd, we may access publicly available or permissioned data and metrics such as usernames, profile URLs, public posts, hashtags, mentions, impressions, and engagement data, strictly in accordance with each platform’s API terms and privacy policies. We do not access or store your private messages.
In addition to information you provide, we may receive publicly available or aggregated social media data from authorized third-party vendors, data partners, or aggregators who collect such data from publicly accessible online sources. This may include public posts, mentions, hashtags, or engagement metrics. We use this information solely to provide analytics and insights through the Services and handle it in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our vendor agreements. TrendFynd does not directly scrape or collect data from any social media platform.

How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services; monitor online mentions, keywords, competitors, and sentiment according to your account configuration; generate dashboards, reports, and alerts; communicate with you regarding account updates, product changes, or support; detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues; and comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. We may display your company’s name and logo on our website or marketing materials to identify you as a customer, where permitted under our Terms of Service or with your consent.

Account and configuration data are retained while your account remains active and for six months after deletion. Logs and analytics data are retained for six months. Billing and payment records are retained for six months. After these periods, we securely delete or anonymize the data in accordance with our internal data retention policy.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data, request correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you may request access, deletion, and details about disclosures of your personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA or CPRA. If you are based in India, we comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and ensure fair and lawful processing of your data.

Data Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to safeguard data, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and periodic reviews. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection. In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.

All data processing is performed in compliance with applicable data protection and intellectual property laws. If you wish to have public content removed from TrendFynd’s datasets, please contact adarsh@trendfynd.com, and we will forward your request to the relevant vendor where appropriate.

International Data Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed on servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions. Where cross-border transfers occur, we implement appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms, to ensure that your data is protected to an adequate standard.

Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact adarsh@trendfynd.com so we can delete it promptly.

Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals. You can still manage tracking preferences via your browser settings or through cookie management tools.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and, where required, notify you by email or through an in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, India.
